Based in Symmetrie Studios in Lynden, WA, Brooklyn has been working in the hairstyling industry for over 10 years with a special passion for all types of hair extensions. Building relationships with her clients is her joy, along with helping them achieve their personal style and making them feel fantastic!

Brooklyn is currently loving life in with her hubby of 6 years, her little guy Grayson and new baby girl Austyn. They enjoy adventuring as a family on their boat, generally out to the San Juan Islands. When the weather isn’t quite nice enough to venture outdoors, you will find Brooklyn shopping for a mixture of the latest trends and classic staples to wear time and time again. She loves her fashion almost as much as she loves a good coconut latte and will never pass up the opportunity to combine the two!

I have been behind the chair since 2016, and have been calling Symmetrie home since 2019. Bright blondes, effortless bridal styling, and sleek cuts are my love but building connection with my clients is the pull that brings me back day after day. Outside of the salon, camping, hiking, and tackling seemingly endless home projects with my husband and dogs, take up the majority of my free time.

I received my cosmetology license in 2015 and joined the Symmetrie team when the salon opened in September of 2019. My specialty is blonding services as well as color corrections. I also love to do vivid colors! I love so many things about the beauty industry but my favorite thing is seeing people light up when they see their hair after a big transformation! When I'm not in the salon I am usually chauffeuring my 3 boys to whatever sport they are playing at the time!

I'm Grace, a professional hairstylist who specializes in all things curly hair, but I also do so much more! I am a three-time Fashion Week Stylist and have a passion for photography and videography. In my free time I love spending time with family, cooking, and also tending to my growing collection of house plants!

Born and raised in Lynden, Washington I obtained my cosmetology license from Kosmatea Academy in 2019. Since then I have been thrilled to be a part of the Symmetrie Team which is nestled in downtown Lynden, Washington.

My goal is to create a calming and welcoming environment where you can truly relax, unwind and have great conversation. From sun kissed blondes to blended silvers, laughter and real talks - I will always strive to have you leave my chair looking and feeling your best, most confident self.

I love calling Symmetrie home to my business, which is located in the ultra cute downtown Lynden, Washington. My goal is for each client to take a moment in my chair that is carved out just for them. A little getaway from your active life to feel pampered, polished, and refreshed. Your style should make you feel confident wherever you go, a fun weekend away, brunch with the girls, or that energetic mom life!

It might sound corny, but working in the hair industry has been a dream come true for me! Symmetrie is my forever “Hair Home” and getting to work with a team of ladies who are always kind and uplifting is just the cherry on top. Hello! My name is Erika Marie Appel. I am a follower of Jesus, wife to a handsome farmer, mom to two beautiful boys, homesteader wannabe and co-owner of Symmetrie.

I have 8 years of experience working in the cosmetology field. My passion within this industry is styling, and I get to focus on that passion by being working on the EM Bridal team! During the week I manage the everyday in and outs of the salon. I feel incredibly blessed to get to work with this team of talented and kind ladies here at Symmetrie!

On my off days you will find me at home on the farm with my twin boys. Enjoying every moment spent with them because they grow way too fast!

I have currently been doing hair for almost 2 years, and have been doing makeup for 1 year! I started working at Symmetrie after I got the opportunity to do an internship here during my last 2 months of schooling. I specialize in blonding and lived in colors! I love getting to meet new people in this industry, especially while doing weddings and photo shoots! I am currently remodeling an RV into a tiny home to live in. I love to take on fun projects! Other things that take up my free time outside of the salon are currently wedding planning, reading and playing with my puppy!

Welcome! I’m Alexandra Bergsma, most commonly known as Zandra for short. My passion behind the chair involves hair cutting for men, women, and children (all ages)! As well as coloring or blonding with natural tones and colors that highlights your own beauty. Born and raised in Lynden, Washington. I obtained my cosmetology license from Evergreen Beauty College.

Outside the studio, you will find me mocking up new garden plans or house designs for my family’s historic home. Besides that my days are full with family adventures. I’m keen on traveling more with the world finally opening back up again! In between all those things I’m eager to meet you and share our time at Symmetrie!

I am a wife, mama, former cheese maker & farm kid, child of Christ, and lover of all things pretty. Seriously, if it has sparkles, is metallic, or lit by golden hour, I. Am. There. I have been actively working as an airbrush makeup artist in Bellingham, Wa since 2012 and in that time have been featured in several publications including Bellingham Alive, Style Me Pretty, Green Wedding Shoes, and PopSugar. I love being creative with makeup, but I ADORE infusing confidence and calm into every face I touch.

The bridal team was founded in 2017 as a way to care for more brides without running myself into the ground. 2019 brought the opening of our very own salon, Symmetrie! I honestly believe I have the best job ever and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to pursue my passion.

Hi all, I’m Kortany Huleatt and I am heading into my 7th year of being a licensed Esthetician! I specialize in full body waxing. I have been married to my amazing husband for almost 5 years now. This past August we had our first baby, Raelynn Michelle, who is the most perfect little girl! I am a nanny to two beautiful little girls and I am heading into my 5th year coaching Cheer at Lynden Christian High School!

Hello gorgeous! My name is Alecia Talbot. I was born and raised on beautiful Orcas Island and moved out here to Lynden for esthetician school in 2022. I’ve known since a young age that this is what I wanted to do and I couldn’t be more excited to build my business! I specialize in lash extensions and offer other lash and brow services as well. Outside of the salon I take great pride in being a big sister and an auntie to many little ones. My absolute favorite thing to do is play volleyball and read a new book. At the end of the day, if I can help someone feel confident and effortless, then my cup is full!

I have been apart of the EM Bridal team for 5 years with makeup which had led me to working here at Symmetrie. Constantly learning and growing from 2019 when I started in the industry as an esthetician, into learning and growing myself, and loving every second of it. With specializing in lash extensions, my favorite part of the day is when my clients see themselves in the mirror and are filled with a light. Outside of my work I love to fill up my days with music, camping, sunsets, playing any types of games and being with friends whenever I can. I am very much a people’s person, in which I love being in this heart felt industry.

I graduated beauty school in July 2021, and landed here at Symmetrie in January 2022. In high school and throughout the years of trying to figure out what I wanted my future to look like, I kept coming back to this industry. My aunt owned a salon growing up, so I spent a lot of time around this kind of environment. I fell in love with waxing instantly, and the feeling of making people feel good and comfortable in their own skin is unmatched. I always thought waking up and loving your job was a fantasy most people dream about, but for me it is a reality.

I am Leilani, owner & aesthetic health / wellness consultant / practitioner. I am also a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I moved from Oahu to Bellingham four years ago. Prior to aesthetics, I worked as a registered nurse in adult acute & intensive care. I enjoy traveling, eating, non-high-risk outdoor activities (i.e., hiking, biking, sunbathing) and I have just started learning the sport of golf!
