Yes, that is my full name. ;)
Born and raised in the PNW, Ferndale to be exact. I am a 2000’s baby, so it will be hard to ever forget how old I am. My business is located at Symmetrie Studios in historic downtown Lynden. I became an esthetician in 2021, & mastered the art of waxing in 2022. I am a full body waxing specialist who takes pride in brightening women’s days and skin by providing a waxing experience to empower a clothing optional and carefree state of mind.
I am a goofy free spirit who loves to laugh and have fun, while still working hard to thrive & grow as an independent business owner. I am thankful to have found a career that allows me to build a carefree and spontaneous life outside of the salon. On my time off I enjoy experiencing new places, old TV shows, any type of pizza, & new wines.

I’m a mom of a fiery 4 year old son, and married to my husband of 8 years. Being a mom has allowed me to connect to women in special ways that you may not get somewhere else. I know the challenges of not feeling confident in your body, and it is my greatest pleasure helping women and moms feel confident in themselves again, one wax at a time. I’m here to celebrate REAL moms and women and REAL bodies!

I am a licensed esthetician and my business is located within Symmetrie Studios in downtown Lynden! I became an esthetician in 2023 and have been loving every second of it since! I specialize in all things brows, lash lift and tints, and facials exclusively for women.
Outside of the salon you can find me hanging out with my family and friends, travelling, reading a book, or outside seeking an adventure.
I love the Lord and am so beyond grateful for all He has provided for my business and I these past few years! He is the whole heart behind my business, and I strive to bring Him glory through it!

Kate Bachenberg is a Doctor of Nursing Practice prepared Nurse Practitioner and the founder and provider of Heliotrope Wellness in Bellingham, Washington. She also continues to practice in acute care hospital medicine, bringing a strong clinical foundation and evidence based approach to every patient experience.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Kate spent seven years working as a registered nurse in critical care, caring for patients in high acuity hospital settings and serving in leadership roles as a charge nurse. Her background in critical care and hospital medicine shaped her approach to patient care with a focus on safety, precision, thoughtful decision making, and trust.
At Heliotrope Wellness, Kate blends advanced medical training with aesthetic medicine to offer personalized Botox, wellness treatments, IV therapy, medical weight loss, and natural aesthetic care in Bellingham. Her approach is rooted in subtle, natural results that enhance rather than change, with careful attention to facial balance, long term outcomes, and individualized treatment plans.
She founded Heliotrope Wellness to create an elevated and welcoming space where wellness and aesthetics feel approachable, personalized, and deeply supportive. Her goal is for every patient to feel confident, informed, and cared for while receiving treatment designed around their unique goals.
