I’m Brooklyn, born and raised, and now happily thriving in the community I grew up in, Lynden WA. Along with co-owning my dream salon Symmetrie, I also create transformations behind the chair 3 days a week!
As a mom and business owner, I understand how valuable it is to feel confident whether I am on a business trip or chasing my two kids around the kitchen. By specializing in extensions, my goal is to leave clients feeling elevated in their style and empowered to take on life.
I have been behind the chair for over 15 years, and was one of the first stylists in our area to offer extensions (2017) and I have remained passionate and dedicated to this craft ever since. My favorite conversations in the chair include current and upcoming trends, hair styling techniques, fashion and I am always down for a solid business chat.
My goal has always been to have my business complement my dream life. From gym dates with my hubby to adventures with the whole family, spending time with my crew is always the top priority.

I have been calling Symmetrie home since 2019, behind the chair serving guests since 2016, and an elopement hair and makeup specialist since 2024. Building a trust based connection with my clients enables me to tailor a look to fit your active lifestyle. From bright blondes to effortless hair + makeup styling to adaptable cuts, my goal is to design an elevated look for you that is perfect for climbing the mountain with your dogs AND catching a plane to the sunshine. Outside of the salon, you will find me road tripping to camp in new places (Moab, Utah area is the current favorite) or tackling endless home projects with my husband and dogs.

I’m a sports mom, an outdoors lover, and someone who truly understands what it means to balance a full, busy life while still wanting to feel confident and put together. I specialize in natural, low-maintenance blonde inspired by the calm, grounded beauty of nature, that grows out softly, stays dimensional, and keeps up with everyday life, from early mornings to game days.
As a sports mom I understand the importance of a relaxed, but result producing appointment, no matter how long or short. My chair is a place to reset and feel taken care of. Hey everyone! I’m Destinee. I was born and raised in Lynden Washington and now am a proud business owner and currently work at Symmetrie Studios located in Downtown Lynden.
I’ve been behind the chair for 10 years now and have fallen in love with creating lived in, low maintenance, sunkissed hair. As a business owner, wife, and mom of 2, I understand how hard it can be to make time for yourself. I have a passion for detail when it comes to hair. My goal is to create a low maintenance but high quality look for you that will last. My priority behind the chair is to make you feel beautiful while giving you a safe, relaxing environment for you to unwind. The relaxing environment is a given and just one of the many reasons I chose Symmetrie as my salon home
Quality time is my love language and I am lucky to have a career that allows me to create meaningful relationships with clients. This career also gives me the freedom to be behind the chair just Mondays and Tuesdays so I can spend that quality time I crave with my family the rest of the week.
In my free time you can catch me at the gym, spending time outdoors with my family, camping with friends, or at a Mariners game with my husband! I am always busy soaking up precious memories with my people!

She has 9 years of professional experience behind the chair and has worked backstage at both New York and London Fashion Week. Her education and services have helped hundreds of clients have confidence and joy in caring for their curls at home! The industry is changing; and she is proud to be at the forefront of introducing her specialty to this area and beyond.
