We are a true collective formed by many specialties in our historic and warm space. Together we welcome both professionals and clients alike to collaborate in creating something beautiful together.
Our Salon
We firmly believe magic happens when you care for yourself, and as an extension, care for others. By supporting the booth renters, we enable them to focus and build upon on their goals, providing both stylists and clients with a moment of peace.. In turn, these clients may take this positivity outside our doors to touch others around them. It’s both a marriage and a ripple effect.
Salon Tour
Symmetrie opened in the fall of 2019, but the humans who pulled it together had been side by side for many years before. We are thrilled to make our home in a historic downtown Lynden building that once housed a tavern and later a Hallmark card store! We like to think we are somewhere in the middle - lots of good vibes, stories, and connections but without the cigarette butts evidenced on our original wood floors.
We are proud to be apart of our clean, friendly downtown and invite you to enjoy the various eateries, our neighboring yoga studio, or just take a stroll and enjoy the famous flower towers! Parking is free and plentiful, but even on a busy day the walk is always beautiful.

Hi! We’re Elizabeth & Brooklyn, welcome to our favorite place. We have both been building business and community in this beautiful industry for 14+ years (each) and couldn’t imagine being without it. We are both wives and moms who know that balance is ever elusive and our careers should be enabling our home life. Not the other way around. We have always had (and always will have) big goals for Symmetrie and the people within, but our priority is supporting our team and helping them build exactly what they need. Whatever that looks like, in whatever phase of life they are in.
